- F Perfume by Salvatore Ferragamo, F perfume is a floral fruity fragrance for women that was launched in 2006 by salvatore ferragamo . The top of the fragrance captivates with jasmine flower and spicy rose essences. The fullness of the orange blossom fills the heart of the perfume, which is anchored at the base with leathery undertones. The result is a sweet and citrusy fragrance that is long-lasting and has moderate sillage. The fragrance was designed by francis kurkdjian, who has created fragrances for burberry, christian dior, and ellie saab. Salvatore ferragamo was eager to begin designing shoes, as he made his first shoes when he was nine years old. After moving to the united states and working in a boot factory for a time, he moved to southern california, lured by the prospects of the film industry. Originally repairing shoes and making custom footwear, he moved into making shoes for the film industry, including designing roman sandals for a cecil b. De mille film. After ferragamo’s death in 1960, his family continued to run his enterprise and has since expanded to also include clothing, accessories, eyewear, watches, and perfumes. The first ferragamo fragrance was launched in 1998. In 2001 ferragamo parfums was launched which also sells fragrances under the incanto name.
